Protecting People, Industry, and Environment

Cerex systems are state-of-the-art instruments that can detect air pollutants such as benzene, mercury, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, and chemical warfare agents on a real time basis.

Open Path and Fenceline Analyzers

Monitor fugitive gases up to 1km around the fence line of your facility with cost-effective UV-DOAS and FTIR analyzers

Portable (Point) Analyzers

Lightweight, portable, battery-powered UV-DOAS and FTIR analyzers

Fixed Installations & Emissions Systems

All-in-one rack, wall, or floor mount packages that combine UV-DOAS or FTIR analyzers with sample system (in-situ or heated extractive)

Survey Site Emissions, Perimeter Leak Detection, Detection of Ambient Gas Levels

Cerex open path analyzers use spectroscopy technology to detect compounds in the open air over hundreds of meters. For decades, the UV Sentry (using UV-DOAS technology) and the Air Sentry FTIR (using FTIR technology) have helped government, industry, and communities monitor fugitive emissions with reliability, accuracy, and extreme sensitivity.

UV Sentry

Best open-path detection limits for
Benzene, Hydrogen Sulfide, and more

Recommended for
Targeting key compounds within UV spectrum

Air Sentry FTIR

Best open-path detection limits for
Alkanes, VOCs, and more

Recommended for
Targeting compounds across the IR spectrum

Point Analyzers

Local Area Sampling and Point Leak Detection

Cerex point analyzers intake surrounding air via a sample port. Spectroscopy technology inside the analyzer then identifies ambient gases within the sample and determines the concentration in real-time.

For decades, the small size and portability of the UV Hound, Shepherd FTIR, and Cerex FTIR have helped emergency personnel, hospitals, government agencies, and others quickly determine the toxicity of their environments.

The UV SCOUT is a new addition for 2025 – created for our customers needing the same reliable point technology and modest size of the Shepherd and Hound, but in a permanent, fixed solution for Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and Indoor Air Quality applications.

UV Hound

Software and Technology

Within the broad landscape of gas detection methodologies, Cerex’s technology uses optical techniques to measure gas phase compounds

Continuous Monitoring Software (CMS)

Cerex analyzers use Continuous Monitoring Software (CMS) for analytical and data logging functions as well as to provide a user interface for the analyzer.

Running in the familiar Windows® operating system, CMS file storage architecture and controls are as intuitive as operating a personal computer.
